Stone Embedded Red Seamed Crescent Wood Lamp

A piece of nature transformed into light. This unique handmade lamp is built around a naturally shaped piece of wood, carefully selected for its organic form and distinctive character. Its sweeping, crescent-like silhouette rises from a rugged natural stone base (which I "borrowed" from the crumbling estate wall of a 8th century French castle), creating a striking contrast between the raw textures of wood and rock. A warm exposed bulb hangs delicately within the curve of the wood, and the red braided wire is sewn through the entire piece, turning the sculpture into a functional light source while preserving its character as a piece of art. Every irregularity, crack, grain and weathered surface is part of the original material - there are no two pieces like it. Details: Handmade, one-of-a-kind piece Natural wood with an organic sculptural form Natural limestone base Warm decorative exposed smart-bulb Each surface and imperfection is unique to the original materials Designed as both functional lighting and a decorative art object Perfect for an interior where natural materials, craftsmanship and individuality matter. Place it on a side table, console, bedside table or wherever you want a small piece of nature to become a focal point. No two Woodalot pieces are ever exactly alike.
